If you Like Beer and it Was No Longer Available?

I may be a beer alcoholic. If there's such a thing. I don't seem to be able to find any other alcoholic drinks that taste as good.
What have you tired to take it's place if anything ?

Cheap but decent wine Ive been enjoying = yellow tail.

Tons of good Merlot brands out there...a lot depends on how much you want to spend. I had a bottle of a California Merlot called "Smoking Loon" last week. It was relatively cheap ($7 or $8 IIRC) and real tasty. The deal with wine is that a lot of it is personal preference, but then again so is beer. If you have access to a big wine store like "Total Wine" just go in there and look for some of their recommendations.

Personally, I prefer Pinot Noir to Merlot--if you want to try a Pinot Noir I'm really big on Oregon PNs. Firesteed is a good, relatively cheap PN and if you want to spend a little more try any of the Erath Vinyard products....
